Santa Cristina undoubtedly has some of the best brush for whitetail in northern Mexico. Just minutes away from the town of Guerrero, this property has the potential to grow giant deer. It feels a lot bigger than it is. It has a beautiful, tall rock bluff overlooking a cactus flat and 1.7 miles of the "Castaños Creek" that give Santa Cristina a very unique contour. The creek flows with heavy rains and has huge potential for making a big lake.
LOCATION
Santa Cristina is located just 3 miles from the town of Guerrero, Coahuila. It borders Hwy 2, which is where the main gate is. It also borders the "Castaños"creek. This area is known all over northern Mexico as one of the best in the world to hunt big, mature whitetails.
PROPERTY
There is a newly renovated house with electricity, gas and water, as well as an outdoor cooking area and a deer cleaning shack. Roads are in great condition. The property is low fenced and doesn't have any cattle. It has good neighbors that very rarely hunt. The brush is some of the best we've seen for whitetail in the state of Coahuila. Like we've mentioned before, the "Castaños Creek"gives this ranch great contour and many possibilities to dam it and hold water all year.
HUNTING
There are 3 rifle stands and several protein and corn feeders distributed throughout the property. The current owner did not hunt much, so we don't have any information on trophies taken or what kind of deer are on the property.
WATER
There are several old water wells with water in them, that have not been checked in years. There are two ponds and the "Castaños" creek that hold water during rainy years. There is a cistern that is filled with water for the use in the house.
